Hotel Fontana - Buzet

The hotel in this charming town exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional - we got so much more than we paid for. Secondly, the staff were absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. Thirdly, the rooms, especially those with a beautiful view of the old town, were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Lastly, breakfast was a delight, with a good variety of options to choose from. It truly made our mornings feel special.

All aspects of our stay at this hotel were more than satisfactory.

Wi-Fi signal was so weak I had to use it from the lobby. A minor inconvenience though, I wouldn't avoid this hotel for this reason.

The staff members were friendly and attentive, making me feel like I was staying in a top-notch establishment. Lastly, the location of the hotel was superb. Situated on a hilltop, it offered breathtaking views of the old town, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. I especially enjoyed waking up to a beautiful view every morning.

The hotel is at the foot of the very nice city of Buzet and you can go there by feet.

No air conditioning out of the rooms. The wifi was only available at the lobby but not in the rooms. The air conditioing in the rooms was not functioning properly.

During my New Year's stay, we enjoyed the great food the hotel had to offer, especially the dishes based on truffles which were surprisingly tasteful! The rooms we stayed in not only looked modern but also provided a beautiful view of the town. we appreciated the free Wi-Fi and parking services provided, making our stay even more convenient.

Some of the amenities were lacking in our room, such as a hairdryer and a kettle for making tea or coffee. The breakfast options were limited, with cooked options being the same every day.

The staff here are truly exceptional - always wearing a smile and going above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. They even offer special amenities for babies, which is a thoughtful touch. The location is perfect, right in the center, making it convenient to explore the nearby shops and attractions. The breakfast spread is decent, and the hotel also offers a truffle menu during special events.

Everything was great - no complaints!

Staying in this hotel was the perfect choice! the location was ideal, situated on a hilltop providing amazing views of the surrounding countryside. the hotel is in a calm town with shops and banks nearby. the room was clean, cozy and the beds provided great comfort after a long day of walking. the staff was very friendly and provided excellent service, especially the receptionists and barman. Breakfast was outstanding! I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys beautiful scenery and a relaxing atmosphere.

The lack of bathtubs in the hotel rooms.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful and patient, even offering tips for avoiding toll fees when driving to Italy from this location. The location itself was also fantastic, putting us in a good area not very far from the sea and on the old centre of this city. The breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety of options to choose from. the cleanliness of the hotel was very excellent, and the facilities were well-maintained.
